When i use msi command center and make a curve there, everything is works. ![]() This is why i tried to modify the curve in the first place.Įdit: as reference, these should be the rpm at the several temp levels according to my curve: ![]() also, when the "stock" curve was applied, when first starting the pc, the cooler fan settles at around 1000rpm and would spin up to a nerving 1300-1500rpm every time the cpu would spike in temperature to 40-50 degrees when opening a tab in chrome or whatever. Yes, fan is able to spin at 1750 rpm, worked fine in the previous rig. FX8350 on a ASrock motherboard to a Intel core i7-8700k on an MSI motherboard, I was unable to control fans using speedfan. This is the second board im trying and still this issue, which is quite upsetting. however it around at 900pm which is a little more than the half. MSI B450 Tomahawk Max- Where to plug AIO By Redoga Apin CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory Followers 2 Redoga Member 68 Posted ApAs the title say, im a looking on the motherboard and can't see a plug that say AIO so kinda confuse the AIO cooler im getting is NZXT Z63. but what is far more concerning: whatever I set as a fan curve in the bios, it doesnt take effect.Īpplied this curve (pic 3), did prime testing, cpus settles at around 60°c (pic 4), according to the fan curve, my fan should spin on 100 percent, which is 1750 rpm for the shadow rock. No there is sth really fishy with the fan curves in the bios.įirst: the fan curve set by default (pic 1) isnt the same as the one which occurs, when I click the default button (pic 2). Just set up my pc with a new MSI tomahawk b450 with a ryzen and my (old) bequiet shadow rock 2 cooler on top of it.
